Richard A. Brown, AIA, Principal
Richard joined BCB Architects in 1990. He completed his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Louisiana State University in 1974.
Richard has extensive experience in the design and construction of public buildings. Although he is currently semi-retired, Richard handles business affairs for the firm and also serves in an advisement capacity. Richard was a member of the Baton Rouge AIA Board fulfilling a variety of roles from 2001 through 2013; he served as President of the board in 2009. He also participated as a Louisiana AIA board member in 2011 and 2013.
Richard is originally from the city of Baton Rouge. He and his wife, Carol, have two children and three grandchildren. He is an avid hunter and fisherman.
